Join Glen Wurden, of the Lab's Plasma Physics group, to hear about "Why the dinosaurs needed fusion rockets too." Originally presented last year as a TEDxLANL talk, he contends that while the U.S. must continue to maintain its nuclear stockpile in an uncertain world, he'll explain another reason they’re a necessity and why speed is important.
A short presentation (about 15 minutes) followed by discussion.
This talk is being presented as a result of a comment on one of our Science on Tap feedback forms. We're listening!
